Kevin returns to the podcast to spend time talking about how he got involved in traveling outside of the United States. He went from being several thousand dollars in debt, having never left the country, making excuses, to spending time in Europe, Tanzania, Central America, and more recently across the Western United States. We address how integration with diverse cultures changes the very way we view them, moreover, our own value system.
Kevin Kurtz is a board certified and state licensed Paramedic in the fourth largest city in Indiana and home of Presidential candidate Mayor Pete Buttigieg. He has centered his focus on austere medicine in Africa, the middle east, and developing countries.
