'The Agents Angle' is joined by Football Finance 'guru' and co-host of the 'Price of Football' podcast Kieran Maguire, with his expert insights, thoughts, and observations on the football agent world from a finance perspective - as well as how new football finance matters affect agents.
As many football seasons around the world come to a close, and with the imminent opening of many football 'transfer windows', the so called 'silly season' begins with much speculation and rumour. So with this, 'The Agents Angle' examines whether the involvement of agents in transfer strategy for clubs distorts the transfer system.
Plus, the show investigates whether an increasing involvement of agents in the recruitment of managers and coaches by clubs may prompt concerns for unhealthy 'conflicts of interest'.
Whilst one agent reportedly 'pockets' 1 million from Lionel Messi's signature on a napkin, another coach and agent find themselves in dispute with a club over a contract signed hurriedly in a hospital car-park.
