"Intentional" is the best word to describe the growth process of the Horse Racing Women's Summit, a movement that started with a multi-day event at Santa Anita Park in 2022, followed by smaller pop-up gatherings around the country. Each of these were thoughtfully planned to gather women into a supportive space for networking, meeting new friends, and fostering deep discussions. Leading into the second Horse Racing Women's Summit, September 27-29 at Santa Anita Park in California, the HRWS planning committee has thought strategically about how to continue spreading their mission. As special guest Shona Rotondo shares during the episode: "We’re not presuming that we know exactly what has to be done for women in racing, we need to hear from everybody in order to do this properly.”
