Brett kicks off the program by talking about this week's confirmation hearings for President-elect Trump's appointees. Brett shares clips from today's hearings for former Governor of North Dakota, Doug Burgam (nominee for United States Secretary of the Interior), and Scott Bessent (nominee for United States Secretary of the Treasury).
We're joined by Breaking Brett Jensen to talk about Josh Stein's first trip to Charlotte as Governor of North Carolina, and his executive order restricting the dissemination of abortion records. The Bretts also discuss the Charlotte crime stats for 2024.
We're also joined by author and lawyer, Gordon G. Chang, to talk about the confirmation hearings this week, and how the CCP will respond to things said in the hearings regarding China.
Later, we're joined Bill Roggio from the Long War Journal to talk about the ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas, the hostage exchange, and if the ceasefire will last. Brett and Roggio also discuss Iranian influence in the Middle East, and their long-term trajectory.
Beth Troutman from Good Morning BT is also here for this Thursday's episode of Crossing the Streams. Brett and Beth talk about Doug Burgum and Scott Bessent's confirmation hearings earlier today. Beth also shares what she and Bo have coming up tomorrow on Good Morning BT!
