Dr. Jennifer Albert is the Director of the STEM Center of Excellence and Associate Professor in the Zucker Family School of Education at The Citadel. She has extensive experience as lead principal investigator of several NSF grants (EAGER:Maker, STEM+C, CSforAll RPP, DRK12, and NOYCE) and a co-director of a SC CHE Center of Excellence for Mathematical Literacy. Her research centers around 1) broadening participation in CS through integrating computational thinking in content-area lessons and 2) STEM teacher professional development. She also serves as the internal evaluator for an NSF CyberCorps grant and NSA/NSF GenCyber grant, as well as an external evaluator for an NSF IUSE grant.
