Lourdes Ramirez won her lawsuit challenging a hotel approval which clearly violated Sarasota County's comprehensive plan. Why would another legal decision, with the same judge, find that a similarly illegal hotel approval can proceed? Sarasota Republic precinct captains are the traditional members of the Sarasota County Republican Executive committee, but that changed this year. Many of these volunteer leaders typically chosen or elected by their Republican neighbors have now found themselves ousted. What's going on? Lourdes Ramirez joins me to discuss the details.
