In this episode of The Dialog Podcast, Jennifer Donnelly, coordinator of the Autism and Behaviour Science program at George Brown College, Toronto, ON and Lisa Cressman, applied behaviour analysts at a center for kids with autism, explain how an intensive therapy works and what the changes in the Ontario Autism Program may cause to these kids who attend these centers. Also, Lisa Yakeley shares the story of her five-year-old daughter Lauren, diagnosed by the age of two with autism, and whom one hundred thousands dollars a year treatment may be partially cut by the government as soon as she turns six.
