On this episode of The Drive Home to Hawkesbury Rachael is looking forward to catching up with Suzanne Harrington of Pinnacle TMS, who is a Trade Mark Specialist/Growth Protection Strategist and also an Amazon #1 Best Selling Author of “Trademarking Your Business”.
Suzanne started her own business nearly 9 years ago to focus on helping small to medium businesses, who seemed to fall between the cracks when trade mark education and knowledge was concerned. Personally, Suzanne is an artist selling her pieces on her own website and is the mother of 3 boys and 3 step-daughters. On the business side, Suzanne worked for Australian top tier law firms for over 20 years in brand protection and trade mark portfolio management both in Australia and Internationally. Suzanne has worked with a vast range of clients from multinational Australian household name clients with billions of dollars turnover right through to IT startup companies, where the company was operating from a garage.
Some of those larger clients I am sure you have heard of, such as Qantas, Primo Small Goods, Optus, Scholastic Books and American Express. But what about smaller business such as, Realise Business, Urban Rituelle or PRS Accountants? Suzanne has worked with all of these businesses and believes that brand protection is just as important for the smaller businesses just starting out, as it is for the mega corporations. Focusing on trade marks exclusively over the years, Suzanne has gained experience in all aspects of trademark registration and renewal, as well as other related services such as recording assignments following acquisitions and recording changes to an owner’s name and/or address.
