Uh-oh, the slow season is coming... the weather changes, less patients are being served, and business just feels stagnant. Whether it's the holidays and cold winter or the heat and humidity of the summers, the "slow season" is enviable for most audiology practices around the U.S. How do we counter the slow season? In years past, practices would try gimmicky marketing campaigns. Remember, the free turkey mailer you just did last Thanksgiving... "free turkeys if you come in for an exam!" Maybe it worked, but what if we flipped the idea of the turkey mailer and said... "we'll give a turkey to a family in need if you come for an exam!" Doesn't that sound more compelling?
