Daniel is a professor of experimental particle physics at the University of California, Irvine, and a fellow of the American Physical Society. He conducts research using the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. While Daniel is not in Switzerland opening mini black holes, along with his partner, Cartoonist, Jorge Cham hosts a brilliant and informative podcast titled Daniel and Jorge Explain the Universe which is a discussion of the big, mind-blowing, unanswered questions about the Universe and each episode explains science in a fun and jargon-free way.
