This episode is part of our Legacy Builder series called “Count Your Blessings” because Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to think about all you have been blessed with in the past year.
What traditions do you have at Thanksgiving?
In our family, we have Turkey Tom/Tina. This tradition was started by my wife years ago. She brings Turkey Tom/Tin out at dinner a few weeks before Thanksgiving. She gives us each one or two paper feathers. She asks us to write out the things we feel blessed to have in our life on the paper feathers. My wife collects them all and glues each one onto the paper turkey.
This year has been one of the worst because of our family’s health trials but God carried us through it!
Life is hard, but we aren’t made to carry the burden alone.
