The political left is visionary and utopian, while mimicking the aesthetics of Christianity it turns towards sacrificial violence. The political right is reactionary and claims the metaphysical realm of Christianity, but mimics the traditions of paganism through State authority. Christ is the true author of liberty, his personhood is the root of individualism and his sacrifice deconstructs politics.
