Did you know over 7 million tons of food is thrown away each year? Some of which are still in perfect condition. That's about 1/3 of all food produced is wasted.
Jenny Costa the founder of Rubies in the Rubble joins us to talk about how wasting food feeds climate change.
Rubies in the Rubble make award-winning condiments that are packed with flavour and purpose. Condiments are a fantastic way of preserving produce by extending their shelf-life with vinegars and sugars. They have a range of ketchups and relishes that are made with fresh fruit & vegetables sourced directly from farms, whilst their mayo is made with aquafaba, a plant-based alternative to eggs that is usually thrown away.
