Hour 1 - It looked like Kirby Smart didn't have a game plan for Alabama's offense on Saturday On this Monday edition of The Morning Shift, Robb Tribble, filling in for Tiffany Blackmon, Mike Johnson, and Beau Morgan, kick off the show by reacting to the Atlanta Falcons taking down their division rival in the New Orleans Saints 26-24 yesterday thanks to a game-winning 58 yard field goal from Younghoe Koo. The guys also talk about how the secondary is the strongest position group for the Falcons, and it not being close. Then, Robb, Mike, and Beau react to Georgia not being able to complete what would’ve been the team’s biggest comeback in program history after losing to Alabama 41-34 in Tuscaloosa. The guys also talk about Georgia Head Coach Kirby Smart being out coached by Alabama Head Coach Kalen DeBoer. Next, The Morning Shift crew continues the opening hour by continuing to react to the Atlanta Falcons taking down their division rival in the New Orleans Saints 26-24 yesterday thanks to a game-winning 58 yard field goal from Younghoe Koo. Robb, Mike, and Beau also let you hear Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins talk about the Falcons’ pass protection being great yesterday. The Morning Shift crew reacts to what Cousins had to say as well. Robb, Mike, and Beau also talk about how Falcons’ linebacker Troy Andersen and Falcons’ running back Tyler Allgeier both gave the team a spark it needed. The guys also talk about how backup center Ryan Neuzil played very well with Drew Dalman out. Finally, to close out the opening hour Robb, Mike and Beau react to the Atlanta Braves failing to sweep the Kansas City Royals, and failing to clinch a playoff spot yesterday after a 4-2 loss to the Royals. The guys also let you hear Atlanta Braves First Baseman Matt Olson talk about nobody caring about them having to play two games, and how they just have to show up and win. Robb, Mike, and Beau react to what Olson had to say as well. Then, The Morning Shift crew talks about what the Braves have to do in their doubleheader against the Mets today to clinch a playoff spot, and explain why it’s imperative for the Braves to win game one of the doubleheader against the Mets today. Finally, to close out the segment, Robb, Mike, and Beau continue to react to the Atlanta Falcons taking down their division rival in the New Orleans Saints 26-24 yesterday thanks to a game-winning 58 yard field goal from Younghoe Koo.
