Day 233 of the Holy Bible One Year CHALLENGE. 2 Chronicles 13-15 chronicles the reigns of Abijah and Asa. Abijah triumphs over Israel through faith in God, while Asa initiates religious reforms in Judah, removing idols, and renewing the covenant with God. When attacked by the Cushites, Asa seeks God's help and gains victory. In 1 Corithians, Paul urges believers to be mature in understanding and stresses that tongues are a sign for unbelievers, while prophecy serves believers.
