This episode's focus is on the hood story of the R. Kelly documentary series that aired early 2019 on #LifetimeMovieNetwork Dee The Melanated 1 and co/host Queen Nellie aka Chani. They discuss how in every hood in the black communities there was the "dope boy" who had the nice cars and the jewelry, some of the girls from the hood saw these men living the type of lifestyle they wanted, especially during #Reganomics the #crack era. They speak on experience's they saw first hand how drug addict mothers would let their daughters date these men, regardless of the age difference. Back in the 80's drug addicts saw it as a come up from the local "high rollers". Dee calls it "the great crack trade off", you let me date your daughter, I'll let you date my child.
