去超商買咖啡、取貨、繳費，已成為現代人習以為常的生活習慣；而永遠充滿活力地喊著「您好，歡迎光臨！」的店員，卻是我們最熟悉的陌生人。最近，接連發生了幾件超商店員提醒顧客戴口罩，卻反而遭到攻擊的事件，也讓大家開始關心超商店員真實的工作處境。
《報導者》Podcast訪問了兩名超商店員，27歲的店長W，父母是加盟主，她大學畢業後選擇接「家業」，便利超商對她和家人來說，就像第二個家。而30出頭的H，從小店員做到副店長，她說自己從小立志當超商店員，她的「店員夢」，是從住家巷口的那間超商開始的……。
