On August 29th, as the deadline for the U.S. to complete its withdrawal from Afghanistan approached, the U.S. military carried out a deadly drone strike in Kabul. While the Pentagon claims it hit ISIS-K, a New York Times reporter investigated and found evidence of only a heartbroken family with 10 dead, including 7 children.
