Club legend Alan Barron is on the podcast this week to talk us through our club's history.
We discuss both clubs (Stoneywood and Dyce) pre amalgamation and then how the clubs came together in 1991.
We then discuss all the highs (and some lows) that we have experienced as Stoneywood Dyce Cricket Club, including promotion to the National Leagues for the first time in 1997.
We also talk about how a club with such limited resources and facilities has produced an unbelievable amount of talent, including Kyle Coetzer and Michael Leask! We have had 20 players play for Scotland at some level, most home grown, which is quite remarkable for a club our size.
We end with an AB Q&A full with stories from the last 50 years of his cricketing ventures!
