This was Recorded in Catoosa Wildlife Management Area in Tennessee. We sit in the Catoosa Savanna Project with Wildlife Biologist and Game Warden, Don Chance. Don talks about what the landscape looked like 200 years ago and the work he is doing in order to bring back the savanna of Tennessee while restoring habitat for wildlife. We learn about Tennessee and why it is the most biodiverse state in the USA. We discuss the connection between hunting, fishing and conservation. We talk about the path to becoming a Game Warden and how fulfilling it can be to work in wildlife conservation.
