Good morning, weather watchers! This is your friendly neighborhood meteorologist coming to you with the latest forecast for the Dallas area.
Let's dive right into what Mother Nature has in store for us on this Martin Luther King Day and beyond. Overnight, we're looking at a crisp and clear sky with temperatures dipping down to a chilly 24 degrees. Expect a gentle east-northeast breeze around 5 miles per hour.
As we roll into Martin Luther King Day, things will start to warm up slightly, but don't break out the shorts just yet! We'll see increasing clouds and a high near 38 degrees, with east winds blowing between 5 to 10 miles per hour.
Things get interesting Monday night. We might see a few snowflakes dancing around before 9 pm, with a slight chance of snow showers continuing until 3 am. Temperatures will drop to around 23 degrees, with north-northeast winds keeping things cool at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
Tuesday brings some gradual clearing, with temperatures reaching a modest 37 degrees. Wednesday looks promising with plenty of sunshine and temperatures climbing to near 49 degrees. By Thursday, we'll see another sunny day with highs around 53 degrees.
The weekend is looking mild, with temperatures climbing to the low 60s and a slight 20 percent chance of showers on Sunday.
