As the Chief People Officer at Blackline, a fortune 500 cloud based accounting software company, Susan Otto leads about 1600 employees across 11 countries. With such a widespread number of employees across the globe, the obstacle of connection in such a large workplace is threatening. But, by promoting and normalizing the different cultures of each employee, she creates a welcoming environment for all teams across the globe.

Newborn babies still benefit from Dr. Virginia Apgar's groundbreaking research into the effects of anesthesia during childbirth and advocacy on the prevention of birth defects.
