Growing up in and around the Parliament-Funkadelic camp, guest Seth Neblett is a photographer and manager who has worked with artists that include Miki Howard, Maxi B of the Mary Jane Girls, Sheila E, Apollonia and Chaka Khan.

For the past several years he has been working on the definitive book covering P-Funk’s unsung female singers, called Mothership Connected: The Story of the Women of Parliament-Funkadelic. It is scheduled to drop in August 2025.

Paraphrasing George Clinton, funk is whatever it needs to be to get you over the hump. Thus, guests can explain where they got their grit, perseverance, inspiration, talent, creativity, character or other qualities that shaped them into who they are today. This serves as a springboard into candid, in-depth and engrossing conversations.
