Unabashedly Obsessed Episode 99: Viviseduction (“The Autopsy of Jane Doe”)

Hey, everyone! Happy Friday the 13th! During our Patreon live stream a few weeks ago, Ashkan (hi, Ashkan!) bumped up his monthly pledge and got to select an entertainment for us to consume (pretend I said that in a way that made sense in an actual language). He chose 2016’s “The Autopsy of Jane Doe”, and during our viewings of this film we learned a few things:

1. If you feel like you’re maybe about to see someone whose face has been shot off appear on screen, you probably are;
2. If your friend Chad tells you that the movie isn’t that scary but Stephen King says that it is, you should probably listen to the guy who writes horror novels for a living and NOT watch it alone in your bedroom at night, especially if you are Erin; and
3. Anyone can play a corpse on an episode of SVU, but if you want to play a corpse in a full-length feature film about that corpse, you better get really good at yoga first.

All in all, we did enjoy the movie and we did manage to sleep without nightmares, although did we mention you see a guy who has had his face shot off? Because you super do.
