Judas And The Black Messiah Is A Powerful Film On The Assassination Of #FredHampton. Fred Hampton Was The Young Precious American Civil Servant-Leader Who Led The Black Panther Party Chapter Of Chicago In The Late 1960s Who Was Assassinated By The Fbi. The Movie Portrays Fred Hampton's Life (Played By Daniel Kaluuya) As A Fighting For The Justice Of Blacks And Other Minorities And Parallelly Shows The Journey Of Bill O’Neil (Played By Lakieth Stanfield) Goes From Petty Criminal To Government Informant Who Infiltrated The Black Panther Party Movement And Also Fred Hamptons Inner Circle.

Our Take Is That The Film Although Powerful Misses The Mark On Some Very Important Points. A Strength That Held The Lionshare Of Hamptons Magnitude Is Lost In The Film Due To The Fact That There Is Very Little Reference To Being As Young As He Was Skilled. There Was Not Much Reference Or Information On How Hampton Became Leader. Additionally, The Main Antagonist Outside Of Brief Shows To J Edgar Hoover ( Fbi Head At The Time), Is Quite Soft. To Fill This Out We Think That This Story Would Have Been Much Better Suited As A Docu-Series That Took The Time To Lead The View Through The Complementary Information To Make The Story As Strong And Compelling As It Was In Real Life.
