The crucifixion of Jesus represents the ultimate demonstration of sacrificial love, where Christ willingly endured both physical and spiritual torment for humanity's salvation. Despite facing mockery from rulers, soldiers, and criminals, Jesus remained focused on others, even counseling the weeping women about future tribulations. His placement between two criminals symbolized His mission to save sinners, while His refusal to save Himself fulfilled God's redemptive plan. Through His stripes, nakedness, crown of thorns, and ultimate death, Jesus provided healing, spiritual clothing, righteousness, and eternal life for all who believe.
