Hi everyone, I'm Ramalho and the eighty-first edition of the Vørtice Pødcast is starting. My guest for this edition has had contact with music since she was a child, and over the years she has perfected it and been part of rock bands in the city of Curitiba. But it was electronic music that sparked an unparalleled passion and made this talented artist enter the market as one of the most promising DJs and Producers in the Brazilian Techno scene. It is with great pleasure that I present Betriza, a complete artist who has already been recognized by big names in the national and international electronic scene. She lived in a boarding school from the age of 10 to 16 in the south of the country, where she had her first contact with music in the church choir and orchestra, experimenting with instruments such as trumpet and percussion. Contrary to the influences she received, Betriza fell in love with rock music, learned to play the guitar on her own and, during her teenage years, became a guitarist and bassist for bands in Curitiba, where she regularly performed in gigs in the basements. 2. Transition to Electronic Music: In 2018, Betriza fell in love with electronic music during her first time at a festival, Tribaltech, and decided to return to music in a different format. He joined the Yellow DJ Academy mixing academy and soon after moved to São Paulo. 3. Choosing Techno: Of all the possibilities, the choice for Techno was organic, as it was where Betriza found her best version as an artist. Techno gave her the depth of sound and energy she needed to express herself fully. 4. Emergence on the Underground Scene: In 2022, Betriza emerged as a leading figure on the Brazilian underground scene, consolidating her reputation as a rising Techno talent in Brazil. Recognized for her remarkable sound versatility and charisma, her performances are charged with energy. 5. Collaborations with Renowned Artists: Betriza has shared booths with artists such as Indira Paganotto, Adiel, Lilly Palmer, Setaoc Mass, DJ Murphy, Salata, Ratier and Eli Iwasa, resulting in exciting moments at prestigious venues such as D-EDGE [SP], Vibe Club [CWB], and Caos [Campinas]. She has participated in independent parties such as Techno Route [SP] and Hail The Light [SP]. She is part of the select Essential Artists agency. 6. Launch of her label RawTech Nation Records: Co-founder and curator of the RawTech Nation Records label, Betriza demonstrates her commitment to the development and promotion of the underground scene in the country. Founded in April 2023 by her and artist Bllack Rose, RawTech Nation Records is focused on Techno Raw/Deep/Hypnotic, emerging as a catalyst for established and emerging artists in Brazil. 7. Music Releases: In 2023, Betriza made his first release on his RawTech Nation Records label VA with the track “We Used to Be Friends (Original Mix)”, which was supported by Argentinian DJ and producer Flug. His next release is scheduled for August 2024, featuring three important tracks for his career. Betriza continues to expand his impact on the Techno scene, with electrifying performances and an unwavering dedication to his growth and the evolution of electronic music in Brazil.
