Good morning, Atlanta! I'm your weather buddy bringing you the scoop on what Mother Nature has in store.
Hold onto your umbrellas, folks! We're starting off with a wet and wild overnight forecast. Expect showers with temperatures steady around 54 degrees Fahrenheit. The south winds are going to be dancing at around 15 miles per hour, with gusts up to 30 miles per hour. We're looking at a 90 percent chance of precipitation, so definitely keep that raincoat handy.
Monday's going to be a bit of a temperature rollercoaster. Showers will stick around until about 8 in the morning, then temperatures will drop dramatically to around 33 degrees Fahrenheit by late afternoon. Those west winds will be whipping between 10 to 20 miles per hour, with gusts potentially reaching 35 miles per hour. Pack a warm jacket and maybe some chapstick for those windy conditions!
The good news? Tuesday looks like a beautiful sunny day with a high near 39 degrees Fahrenheit. Wednesday follows suit with more sunshine and a high of 42 degrees Fahrenheit.
Winter weather watchers, take note! Friday might bring a little winter magic with a slight chance of snow transitioning to rain and snow. Temperatures will hover around 38 degrees Fahrenheit.
Weekend warriors can look forward to partly sunny skies on Saturday and a mostly sunny Sunday with temperatures climbing to a pleasant 44 degrees Fahrenheit.
