Good morning, Atlanta! Let's dive into this chilly week ahead that's got more twists and turns than a roller coaster.
We've got some serious weather alerts on our radar including a Dense Fog Advisory and a Winter Storm Watch. So buckle up, folks!
Tonight, we're looking at cloudy skies with a low around 40 degrees Fahrenheit and a light northwest wind around 5 miles per hour. There's a tiny 20 percent chance of showers, so keep that umbrella handy.
Sunday's going to be a brisk one, with temperatures dropping to around 37 degrees by late afternoon. Expect northwest winds cranking up to 10 to 15 miles per hour, with gusts potentially hitting 30 miles per hour. Bundle up!
Sunday night will be partly cloudy and downright cold, with temperatures plummeting to a frigid 16 degrees. Those northwest winds aren't taking a break.
Martin Luther King Day looks sunny but chilly, with a high near 31 degrees and continued northwest winds around 10 to 15 miles per hour.
The rest of the week brings a potential snow show on Tuesday, with a 50 percent chance of snow showers after 1 PM. Temperatures will hover around 34 degrees.
Wednesday looks like a bright spot with sunny skies and a high of 36 degrees.
