Good morning, Atlanta weather watchers! This is your holiday forecast coming in hot... or should I say, cool?
Today's looking like a frosty start with widespread frost before 9 am. But don't worry, sunshine is on the way! We'll see temperatures climbing to a crisp 56 degrees Fahrenheit with calm winds shifting to the northwest at around 5 miles per hour.
Tonight, expect another chilly evening with patchy frost after 2 am and temperatures dropping to a brisk 35 degrees Fahrenheit. Clear skies will be your evening backdrop.
Christmas Day brings more festive weather with areas of frost before 9 am, then transitioning to a mostly sunny day. Temperatures will nudge up to 57 degrees Fahrenheit with east winds between 5 to 10 miles per hour and potential gusts up to 15 miles per hour.
As we roll into the weekend, things get a bit more interesting. Friday brings a slight 20 percent chance of showers after 1 pm, and by Saturday, we're looking at a 40 percent chance of precipitation with cloudy skies and temperatures reaching near 61 degrees Fahrenheit.
Sunday looks like a mixed bag with a 50 percent chance of showers and temperatures climbing to around 63 degrees Fahrenheit.
