For episode 6 of ‘Why We Create’ we had the honor of sitting down with three-time Eisner Award Nominated Comic Book Illustrator and writer, Ibrahim M. Moustafa. Ibrahim is a Portland, Or based comic book writer, illustrator, car enthusiast, dog lover and time-loop afficionado.

Ibrahim may be best known for his work on the Eisner Award Nominated publications such as ‘High Crimes’ and ‘Jaeger’, his work can also be found across several publishers such as Marvel Comics, DC Entertainment, Image Comics, Dark Horse and more. You can also see his work in his newest book, ‘RetroActive’.

For the first part of the episode (we had so much fun we needed to split this ep. In two parts) we discussed the daunting nature of world building, the cool tech of the future and of course, which Bat Mobile is the best. We got to nerd out on the construction and concept of time loops, which naturally led us to discuss our favorite time travel movie.
