Established in 1992 in Lucerne (Switzerland), Galerie Urs Meile run by the Meile family has been at the forefront of contemporary art in China since their arrival in the country in the mid-90’s. Working with recognized artists such as Ai Weiwei, Qiu Shihua or Not Vital, they have helped many Chinese artists to met international audience while bringing international talent discover China. René Meile director of the gallery explains to Aladin Farré and Cecilia Chow how those past three decades went by for Galerie Urs Meil.
