Joan Nguyen is the co-founder and CEO of Bumo, a platform that aims to revolutionize the childcare industry by offering accessible, free, on-demand services to support busy parents. Bumo offers parents a peaceful, beautiful workspace with education-based childcare and preschool. Growing up raised by refugee parents, Joan spent much of her childhood living in poverty. Her parents raised her with the understanding that education was not only important, but also a privilege. Her passion for education and learning also drove her to start MeriEducation, an INC5000 company that provides educational services such as SAT prep and academic tutoring.
