Imagine nearly EVERY square inch of your home being filled with Nativity Scenes of various sizes; from nearly life sized to a Nativity scene that is carved into a watermelon seed. That is exactly what you will find at the Nativity House in Austin, MN.
In this episode of Wright Here, Right Now I'll be at the Discover Austin office visiting with Helen Holder, who has been collecting Nativity scenes for many years. Her collection now includes just under 1000 scenes. Each year Helen and her husband set up the collection throughout their home and then open up and allow the public to stop by and take a tour.
I also get a chance to talk with Luke Reese at the Jay C. Hormel Nature Center. He'll be introducing you to the newest intern Naturalist now working at the Nature Center.
And I also get the chance to learn more about the financial distributions and grants that will soon be announced by the Austin Area Foundation.
