Join us this week as we talk with Patricia Diefenderfer, Senior City Planner with the City of Los Angeles, about the new HI Ordinance (Hybrid Industrial Live/Work Zone), and with Peter Lynn, Executive Director of the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, about the programs which exist and resources which are allocated through his office.

This week we’ll also discuss the upcoming display of four final entries in the Pershing Square Renew design competition, the demolition of the Sixth Street Viaduct and developer Leonard Hill’s funding of public space under the new bridge, the carrots and sticks behind the newly passed Broadway signage ordinance, city council’s approval of the Hybrid Industrial Live/Work Zone ordinance and how John Parkinson’s great-great grandson has recreated the lost park as a 3-D digital environment.

All this and more as Kim & Richard usher in the week of March 7th, 2016
