很多同学分不清“a lot of”“lots of”“a lot”的区别，

今天卡卡老师带你彻底学会它们的不同。

1. “a lot of” 和 “lots of”

意思相同，都表示 “许多”“大量”，

既可以修饰可数名词复数，也可以修饰不可数名词。

There are a lot of books on the shelf.

There are lots of books on the shelf.

书架上有许多书。

There is a lot of water in the bottle.

There is lots of water in the bottle.

瓶子里有很多水。

2. “a lot”通常用作副词短语，

表示 “很”“非常” 等，用来修饰动词、形容词或副词的比较级。

Thanks a lot.

非常感谢。

She is a lot better today.

她今天好多了。
