Deborah is Haida Indian born on January 3rd. Her great grandfathers John Wallace and Dwight Wallace were Haida Chiefs, and famous Totem Pole carvers. Her family lived with Charles Willis Jr., President, and CEO of Alaska Airlines prior to moving to Alaska in 1976. Charles Willis Jr. recruited Dwight Eisenhower to run for President., On Jan. 3, 1959, President Dwight Eisenhower signed a proclamation admitting Alaska to the Union as the 49th state.
