Ash (she/her/they) and Andi (she/her) Zolton are the founders of Roam Events, the production company behind Roam Fest, the first and largest femme mountain biking festival.
Ash and Andi are passionate advocates for creating fun-first experiences for all riders, but are especially committed to creating safe and welcoming spaces for marginalized folks. When not planning bike parties, Ash is involved with The Roam Collective, a nonprofit org with a mission to celebrate and elevate representation in the mountain biking community. And Andi works as a professional bike mechanic and coach with USA Cycling's Athlete Development Pathway.
In this episode, Ash and Andi chat with DZ about starting the Roam Festival, Ash’s background as a tour guide, the story of Rebecca Rusch officiating their wedding, and how their nonprofit, Roam Collective, is dedicated to increasing the representation of marginalized riders.
