Skillfully Receiving Feedback: Managing Emotions, Remaining Receptive, Asking Questions, Taking Action
Manage episode 410182760 series 3013017
The Fika Crew (back in full force this month) talk about the challenges of receiving feedback. How we receive feedback is colored by our identity (and beliefs about self), the relationship with the person giving feedback, and our beliefs about what is "true." Few of us have had formal instruction on how to receive feedback well - but perhaps this should be explicitly addressed in our curricula.

Even though we don’t accept advertising and don’t have any sponsors, we seem to mention Trader Joe’s snacks and various water-based drinks a LOT.
