A first for Music Stories I think, an interview with another DJ ! Of course Pete Sherriff and I have a lot in common and could have talked for weeks! In fact there will be a Part 2 interview as he has so many interesting and inspirational stories to tell. My wife Emma and I watched Pete very professionally DJ and Compare at a festival in the summer, I was so impressed with his personality and professionalism I had to try and track him down for an interview! We talk about how he started at school ( same as me) and he has stories about his time at clubs, including The Dome in Birmingham - where Emma used to go as a young woman to dance to his tracks! What she has achieved since the change is astounding, recording in Nashville, working and collaborating with the best, professional musicians, and more. His legendary father was huge in the jazz / swing / dance world ( he was the guy who sang 'I just Wanna Be Like You' as King Louis in the film The Jungle Book!) and Louis Junior is following in his footsteps!
