The Lord made it clear in Micah. “He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.” Yet how to love mercy tends to be a struggle for many congregations. So with Scott absent, Barry and Kyle share pastoral insights about this topic.

They begin by discussing the practice in their congregations regarding what is done when requests for help come. From there, the important role of the deacons is emphasized. Next, they follow with many ideas on how the congregation can and should be involved in meeting the needs both within and outside the congregation. Along the way, relevant Scriptures, historic practices, and important principles of mercy ministry are offered.
