Much is made about the creative decisions in ads for the Big Game, but how does all that money, those requisite celebrity cameos, and everything else that goes into these multi-million dollar investments translate into Return on investment? Today we’re going to talk about what the numbers tell us from all those high-profile ads and who the winners and losers of the Advertising Bowl are in 2025. To help me discuss this topic, I’d like to welcome Nataly Kelly, CMO at Zappi, who unveiled their annual Super Bowl Ad Success report on Monday. We’re here to talk about the approach, the results, and what those results mean for brands that invested a lot of money - and time - into their campaigns. About Nataly Kelly I help companies unlock global growth For more than two decades, I have helped scale businesses across borders, as an executive at B2B SaaS and MarTech companies. I’m Chief Marketing Officer at Zappi, a consumer research platform. I spent nearly 8 years as a Vice President at HubSpot, a multi-billion-dollar public tech company, driving growth on the international side of the business. Having served as an executive at various tech companies, I’ve led teams spanning many functions, including Marketing, Sales, Product, and International Ops. I’m an award-winning marketing leader, a former Fulbright scholar, and an ongoing contributor to Harvard Business Review. I love working with interesting people and removing barriers to access. ×If you’ve ever heard an old favorite song and it reminded you of a bygone time, or event -- the high school dance, the first kiss, your first job -- you understand the special relationship between music and the human psyche. And if, like us, you constantly keep shuffling and reshuffling pieces of music to form the soundtrack of your life (come on, we’ve all done it), then you’ve come to the right place! In this second installment of Peachey and King’s “Mix Tape”, Kris King asks Brad Peachey to “pick the song” to be played for various scenarios. Have a pencil and paper ready because you’ll want a list of these songs by the end of the episode. These are Borah Voices.…
Welcome to Season 8 of the Borah Pridecast -- the only school podcast in the Boise School District. This season promises to be -- as the kids say -- totally FIRE (or is it rizz?). Now would be a good time to subscribe to the Pridecast, and its sister podcast, Borah Voices, which is totally written, recorded, edited, and produced by Borah High School students. These are Borah Voices!…
If you’ve ever heard an old favorite song and it reminded you of a bygone time, or event -- the high school dance, the first kiss, the bitter breakup (you know who you are!) -- then have a listen to a couple of Borah High's unofficial musicphiles and life-long friends, Kris King and Brad Peachey. This is the first installment of their "Mix Tape" podcast series, and you're going to learn a lot. A lot about some old songs, about some Borah dance lore, and a lot about Peachey and King. These are Borah voices!…
The 7th season of the Borah Pridecast has been a "restructuring" year. Our audio expert, Mr. Wray, did what a lot of teachers hope to do: he retired. So, we've been trying to get some episodes done while learning the editing ropes; and it's been a tough year, but we've finally found the "on air" button on the this thing, so here comes Episode #31! In this sit down interview with Borah U.S. Government teacher Korrin Rue, listeners get a taste of what it's like to teach high school government classes in the midst of the current political climate in this country (hint: it's a little awkward). This is an insightful, compelling, and honest look at today's politics in the high school classroom. These are Borah voices.…
The Pridecast is set to go for Season 7 and the podcast crew is eager to drop some episodes. Stay tuned, too, for the 2nd Season of Borah Voices, the completely student generated podcast from Borah High School. It's going to be a great year! These are Borah voices.
Pin on your boutonnieres, and tighten your cummerbunds! This episode dropped back in April of 2018 -- before COVID ruined the high school prom. A little romcom, a little tragicomedy as Borah teachers offer a nostalgic look back at their own high school prom nights. Hattie Smith (2018 grad) gives her"Hattie Minute" -- and her two cents -- about student "promposals," and Ms. Hughes offers student listeners some prom etiquette advice. These are Borah voices!…
Episode #3 finds the podcast team sliding into the 4th quarter with the slight, exciting twinge of summer break on the horizon. We chat up students standing in line for the Friday Food Trucks; seniors share their graduation plans, the podcast crew introduce themselves. We also reached into the Borah Pridecast archives to retrieve Mr. Rose's Prep Period Cold Call with Mrs. Atkins, and a short excerpt of Rueben's interview with fiction, film criticism and former comedy writer for The Onion, Fran Hoepfner. Give it a listen! And don't forget to smash that "subscribe" button! These are Borah Voices.…
The winter episode of Borah Voices features interviews with Borah Debate students, whacky and weird holiday gifts and traditions; Mr. Samano talks up the Borah Snow Team. There's a movie review in the mix, as well as an interview with the Youth Programs Coordinator at the Boise Brick House full of information about teen and family mental health options. Give a listen and don't forget to subscribe! These are Borah Voices…
Welcome to Episode 1 of Borah Voices -- A sister podcast of the Borah Pridecast and the first podcast in the Boise School District (and probably the state of Idaho) produced, recorded, and edited solely and completely by students. Your hosts for this episode, Camille, Tommy, and Scarlett, bring listeners on a Cross Country team bus trip, then record "Man-on-the-street" style among the throng of Borah students at this year's Homecoming Carnival. Then it's off to the Team HOME Walk for Huntington's Disease , and finally an interview with comic book artist, author and Borah High alum, Terry Blas. Thanks for listening! Subscribe! These are (and this is) Borah Voices!…
Welcome to Season 6 of the Pridecast. This season opener introduces a new podcast in the Pridecast family. Drobny offers his picks for the Best Root Beer Blind Taste Test; there's "Star Stories" and movie reviews, too! Be sure to hit the subscribe button! As always, these are Borah voices!…
Carlos and Miles talk some shop, Tommy talks to band kids, an interview with Borah Tennis Coach, Mr. Stafford, and the Borah Debaters talk really fast and will argue about anything! These are Borah Voices!
Episode 27 is this year's first fully student-produced podcast. Senior Co-hosts Carlos and Miles and their bevy of student correspondents report in on the first semester happenings at Borah High School. Interviews, movie reviews, and student-on-the-street Homecoming questions. These are Borah voices.…
Well, it's October at Borah (it's October everywhere, probably), and our seniors are starting to get the College itch. Time to start thinking FAFSA, letters of rec requests(we hear plying a certain English teacher with a bottle or two of strawberry milk will greatly improve that recommendation letter!), and making that list of potential schools. In this episode, Ethan chats up Borah's College and Career counselor, Jenni Kimball, and Santiago sits down with the College of Western Idaho's Latinx Student Services Coordinator, Javier Garcia. Some great advice in this episode for any students thinking about their future after high school. These are Borah Voices!…
Here comes season 5 of the Borah Pridecast! We have new hosts, new segments, and, just like Episode 4 of Star Wars: A New Hope. What is it? You'll have to subscribe to find out! These are Borah Voices.
On Saturday, February 1, 2020 Jad Abumrad, host of Radio Lab and Dolly Parton’s America podcast series, visited the Borah High School library in Boise. For over an hour, in a library jammed with eager students, Jad graciously sat for an interview with Borah Pridecast student host, Ellie Smith (graduating class of 2020!). A few weeks later, the COVID-19 pandemic surged, and the school year went virtual; the Pridecast studio was shuttered for the next 14 months. So, for Episode #25, the Pridecast team offers its listeners that full interview – made possible with some generous help from the The Cabin, Idaho’s literary arts nonprofit organization, and the podcast team for Boise State Public Radio News’ “You Know the Place” podcast. Thanks for listening. These are Borah Voices!…
