Amanda Louzon has been in the optical industry since 1995. She has an associate's degree in Ophthalmic Science and a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is a New Jersey Licensed Dispensing Optician with national opticianry and contact lens certifications. She has worked for wellknown box chains, private practices, and two of the largest optical management groups in the United States. Since 2007 she has traveled the country to develop private Ophthalmology optical dispensaries to their greatest potential. In 2018 she compiled her knowledge from opening, building, and developing 300-plus private practice optical dispensaries and started her own consulting business, Optical Development Consulting, LLC. Since then, she has worked with small practices to large private equity groups to elevate Opticians and share her message to 'bring medical back to optical.
