Psalm 78:4, 7 “we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord” so they “would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands.” Casey Hilty shares 5 steps of faith, what we can learn from 8 Biblical moms and practical ideas on how to share our faith with the next generation in her book, Her Children Arise: Passing a Legacy of Faith to the Next Generation. We talk about some of those steps and the moms who lived them out, as well as the lessons Casey has learned.
Casey Hilty is a Christian speaker, artist, worship leader, and author. Using both storytelling and visual art, she is passionate about taking mothers on a journey from apathy to awe to fall in love—or back in love—with God and His Word. Casey recently jumped back into the world of teaching after being a stay-at-home mom for 14 years. She and her husband, Bo, have three school-aged kids, a gaggle of pets, and call South Louisiana home.
