After the Resurrection of Jesus, He appeared to his disciples numerous times. Today, we follow the disciples to Galilee, where they were told to go wait for Jesus. As they wait, Peter and six others decide to go fishing. After a night without a catch, a voice from the shore calls out to them and tells them to cast on the other side... the result was a miraculous catch that could not be hauled into their boat!
Once they realize who the voice belongs to, Peter jumps out of the boat and swims for the shore. Jesus then invites them to breakfast. In the conversation that follows between Jesus and Peter, we see a gracious restoration made possible by the Gospel as again, Jesus invites Peter with the two words that changed everything... "Follow Me."
