Hello, Jason Cain here and welcome to the Ancient wisdom modern mind podcast and today I would like to share with you about my thought on what is ego and I would also like to understanding the nature of ego from a more truthful perspective.
Your ego is your conscious mind, the part of your identity that you consider your "self." If you say someone has "a big ego," then you are saying he is too full of himself. The ego often indulges in our most basic impulses but it also works to achieve a balance with our cultural and idealistic standards. While the ego from our personal perspective operates at the conscious level, it also has strong ties to subconscious and even the unconscious levels of mind.
