Jesus often warned about hell, speaking of it more than anyone else in Scripture. In this message, Dr. John explores the parable of the rich man and Lazarus from Luke 16:19-31. While the rich man lived in luxury, Lazarus struggled in poverty. After death, their fates were sealed—Lazarus was comforted in heaven, and the rich man faced torment in hell. The Invitation: Invitations are usually a joy to receive. Birthdays, anniversaries, a coffee with a friend. Whether they are printed on embossed stationary or sent via a text, an invitation means that our presence is desired. In this 10-message series, Dr. John continues his study of Luke's gospel. In it, we hear Jesus' repeated invitation "to come." God desires our presence.
