The directorial debut of Richard Kelly, who also wrote it, stars Jake Gyllenhaal, his sister Maggie, Drew Barrymore, Noah Wiley and Patrick Swayze. Donnie is a troubled teen with dark visions of the future delivered by a terrifying 6-foot-tall bunny rabbit named Frank. With only 28 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes and 12 seconds to stop the end of the world, Donnie navigates through the difficult time of life when you discover that the world doesn’t make sense and nothing really matters. Acts of violence, a motivational speaker with a dark secret, hallucinations and time travel… doesn’t sound like a mental health movie, but Derrick is a weird dude and this is one of his, so here we are!
