Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion is a wild ride, and our two first-timers are shocked out the gate to learn "Wait, this is going this hard from episode one?" because, dear listeners, neither of us knew this was about fantasy racism and colonialism. We just knew there were mechs. Get ready to have a frank discussion about how uncomfortable it is to hear people referred to by in-universe slurs so casually from week to week, and be ready for the hammiest acting this side of a Resident Evil game, because CG seems to have tied a brick to the accelerator and leapt out of the vehicle.
