Writer/director Benjamin Verrall has always been drawn to the power and mystery of the sea - a theme that resonates in his newest short film SHOUTING AT THE SEA.
Benjamin has carved out a successful career in the media industry. His journey led him to establish Toffee Hammer, a creative agency and production company that has gained recognition for its innovative storytelling and collaborative spirit.
Ladies and gentlemen, Benjamin Verrall’s newest film, a beautiful short called SHOUTING AT THE SEA is about two friends Joe and Katherine reconnecting after years apart. They spend the day in the teenage haunts of the seaside town where they grew up. Together they confront the past, share who they've become, and finally conclude the conversation that had torn them apart. Witness to this human drama, the sea (voiced by Daisy Haggard) remains indifferent, yet its waves narrate a tale of memory, belonging, and vulnerability.
